Bedankt voor je bezoek en reactie op mijn fotolog. Opbouwende kritiek en een eerlijke mening over de foto wordt op prijs gesteld, want ik heb nog veel te leren! Meer foto's zijn te bekijken op mijn 'oude' fotolog of op mijn Pbase-account.

Oh Monique ! I'm always daily with you (and so happy to be on this regular basis) ! This one is really perfect. 5 ***** for me ! Her body looks like a metallic structure, it glows under this white background. It's really, really gorgeous.

@ : Nee Monique de bloem wordt hier niet gegeten, ik wist trouwens niet dat die eetbaar is!
Wij hebben hier allemaal fruitbomen in den hof met onbespoten fruit, zal eens een bloem proeven ;-)

Outstanding - no pun intended. Bright backgrounds are very problematic with some insect macros.

@Ank: De achtergrond is een nagenoeg witte muur die ik in Photoshop een beetje heb moeten bijwerken ;) Is me veel te bewerkelijk om een foto zodanig te bewerken om dit effect te krijgen, veel gemakkelijker om er rekening mee te houden tijdens het fotograferen.

Have you ever thought about what would you do with your extra hands if you had them like he does? Carry your extra gears perhaps? Or one hand holding your tea the other wave away the mosquitoes that trying to suck you dry while you're taking the picuture? :-)

Apparently you are more drunk than I am, Monique. You said it in your first reply to me above: "... but does darn meat loving red ants are a pain in the ...". Now fire ants are red and they do bite.
My wife once was bit on the foot while working in the garden by one tiny fire ant, the allergy caused rash reaction that spread all over her body all the way up her scalp in minutes, of course from that day she has perfect excuse not to do any yard work at all. :-)

@Ti: Oh no ... they are weaverants and quite big compared to those other nasty small red ants ... I guess I had too much sun today :)) The bite of a weaverant doesn't cause any other discomfort then the pain of the bite ;) and I'm still the one working in the garden :)
