Bedankt voor je bezoek en reactie op mijn fotolog. Opbouwende kritiek en een eerlijke mening over de foto wordt op prijs gesteld, want ik heb nog veel te leren! Meer foto's zijn te bekijken op mijn 'oude' fotolog of op mijn Pbase-account.

Oei deze is ook mooi! ik heb die van gisteren ook nog even bekeken en ik kan bijna niet kiezen! maar... als ik toch een keuze moet maken wordt het deze! Prachtig!!

Die van gisteren heb ik ook nog even bekeken,
maar deze is mooier,
doordat de herhaling van de spiralen duidelijker is.
OT De was gaat naar een kaarsenmakerij.

Like the aesthetic research here. The play with graphism and contrasting colors of the shells is really interesting and has a very strong visual impact.

Another very nice and cleverly composed shot. I just wonder if the depth of field is a little too shallow. It would be nice to have all (or more) of the larger shell in focus.

@Richard Hollins: The depth of field of a macro lens is very shallow and only 0.03 cm with the settings I used. Even at F32 it's will be only 0.1cm. The shell I used is about 3 cm and with the snail in front you can't get a totally sharp image of the two subjects, but in my opinion that's the charm of a macro lens ;)

Another great photo in this series! I think I like the second one more- I feel a greater sense of curiosity in this one. And I can see both spirals better. Very nice!
